This is a video sermon about the spying out of the land which I recorded for my good friends at Hope Church, Basingstoke as part of their ‘Promised Land’ series.

I really enjoyed the excuse to dig back into some of the narrative in Numbers from a fresher perspective. I also enjoyed the chance to preach in a more relaxed way: by which I don’t just mean from my sofa, rather, I enjoy the opportunity to explore a text in a more conversational, observational way.
